MarbleArc is a small womenswear label with one rule for its photographs: the clothes are real, the colour is true, the place is real, and the model is a marble statue.
We started shooting on statues because models kept stealing the picture. Carrara marble does not pout, does not need a break, and has been standing in the same pose since the second century. Put a rust ribbed vest on a reclining figure and all you see is the vest.
Our statues have faces, because the marble is the point. They are varied, like real sculpture: some broad, some slight, one seated, one headless bust who only models necklaces. None of them is a recognisable artwork; they are ours, carved for the catalogue.
What we make
Eight pieces a season, cut in New York, made in small runs in Portugal, India and Scotland. Sizes run S to L, jeans by waist. When a piece sells out it is gone until the next run; we do not overmake.
Collect from our studio
Choose Collect from our studio at checkout and there is nothing to pay for delivery. We will email when it is ready, usually the next working day, and you pick it up from the studio below. Bring the order number; the statue on the door will not check it, but we will.

Shipping
Orders ship from our warehouse in Secaucus, New Jersey, by USPS Ground Advantage (free over $75) or Priority Mail. We also ship to the United Kingdom by Royal Mail and to most of Europe, Canada, Australia and Japan. Details are on the shipping page.
